Tulalip Tribes Child Support Program
Mission Statement: Indian children are the most valued resources of
the Tulalip Tribes and constitute the future of the Tribes. The purpose
of the Tulalip Child Support Program (TCSP) is to enforce the child’s
right to support (financial, medical, emotional, and cultural) from both
paretns in order to raise the standard of living for Tulalip children. TCSP
established paternity and child support orders, enforces State and Tribal
Court orders and modifies Tulaip child support orders. This program will
work in collaboration with all agencies and departments to help meet the
needs to the entire family.
The Tulalip Child Support Program allows child support to be
consolidated into one department. TCPS handles all child support
matters, whether it is a TANF referral, separation, divorce or parenting
plan. TCPS brings these cases to Tribal Court.
